Way to go Monica (& Chris)
Full Grown Adults TeePeeing someones house
LOLOLOLOLOLOL man that never gets old! Chris and Monica ran the Half Marathon in St. George, Utah last weekend. That's awesome considering; from what John and Julie said, last year Monica couldn't even imagine herself running a 5K! Well, she's already MY hero because I'm frettin' about the measly 5K I agreed to do this May.
So, How did this all happen? I'll tell you.
I'll condense as much as possible.
John and Julie came by Saturday night to make posters (you'll see them in the pics below) While making said posters "someone" I can't say who, started talking about Toilet Papering. I was ready for bed and Mike had a talk he was preparing for church the next morning. All of that went out the window once the Hammonds showed up! (bad influences!!! bad!) anyway, it really didn't take much discussion, there was no waffling...we love this family and we wanted to show them how proud we were of them...no really...I'm TOoooTALLLYYY serious!
Anyway, here it is, in all it's glory...
I like the way the tissue waves in the breeze...it was truly a mystical, magical fairyland :)
Unfortunately what you can't see is the super job my sweetie did on the roof! for 6'1" 205 lbs., he's so very nimble in the dark up there with the large antenna and the big orange power cable Chris tossed on the roof after Christmas was over...What's that about Chris???
It's March, time to take the lights down dear. hehe
There were a few "extra added bonuses" the boys threw in or maybe it was just Mike; He taped the trash cans and I believe the Mail box shut not to mention the front and carport doors shut! I have no problem throwing my sweetie under the bus on this one because exactly what I thought might happen...did.
Alie honey...I am SOOO sorry he did that to you when you needed to GO so badly! But think of it this way, there are going to be many, many more times in your life when being able to hold it for an extended amount of time will be necessary and maybe Mike was just trying to give you a little practice. who knows, it could happen...maybeBut really John and Julie and Mike and Shelly are super proud of you, and we're grateful to be your friends!
Big Kiss!

So, this is the group. Any of you who recall the post 6 ft. Alligator From Jupiter Trio in July...this is not them. They got a new Mike. He plays keyboard and I don't think he sings...or hollers, But he's got something all together different. Two full ride scholarships to BYU. One for music and the other for Biotechnology. What are Brett and Andy doing with this guy???
The Circuit was dark and it was hard to get a sharp picture of the guys with all the flashing lights and the bobbing up and down of the crowd of mainly teenage boys. There were Mohawks, long flowing heads of hair, and preps there. It was a very diverse crowd in the mosh pit... with a few little groupie girls here and there.

Valentine's Day
Oh...and a pound of Chocolate.
So I went to the CU to Heart Attack his office like a school girl! It wasn't easy because no matter how hard his co worker tried to get him out of the office he wouldn't stay off the phone!!! HOLY CRAP MAN, GO GET LUNCH! So after circling the beautiful city of Murray (not) I got the OK to get the job done, so here it is... I got his favorite drink and candy bar and a book called, "Who's your Caddy?"
I also printed a song and copied it onto a CD for him to listen to by Rascal Flatts called "Bless the Broken road."
Bless the Broken Road
I set out on a narrow way many years ago. Hoping I would find true love along the broken road. But I got lost a time or two, wiped my brow and kept pushing through, I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you. Every long lost dream led me to where you are, others who broke my heart they were like northern stars, pointing me on my way into your loving arms. This much I know is true, That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you. I think about the years I spent just passing through. I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you. But you just smile and take my hand, you've been there you understand it's all part of a grander plan that is coming true. Every long lost dream led me to where you are. Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars pointing me on my way into your loving arms. This much I know is true, That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you Now I'm just rollin’ home into my lover's arms, this much I know is true. That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you.
Amen Sister!
Best Valentine's Day ever Babe!

Guitar Hero
My mother is a rock star. No really, she is. She plays the guitar. She also was friends with a TV star (Marilyn Munster from "the Munsters"aka the pretty blonde one) and dated some guy who lOOKED like a hot movie star. See... I told you!
Here she is, showing off her sweet skills playing Guitar Hero II with Morgan.
And here she is surrounded by glowing blond beauty! Man I wish Bethy was here. She's the one thing that could make this picture better .

Dances Through the Ages
Bella Vista Elementary had a dance program a few weeks ago called Dances Through the Ages Morgan's grade did the Meringue. Her dance partner didn't show that night which was sad because they look so cute together! He looks a lot like Morgan actually and during practice they constantly giggled...could have something to do with me dancing around them! What?? I Can Dance!!!
Anyway, her teachers aide came to the rescue at the last minute which I truly appreciate, but as cute as she is, it would have been more adorable with with the little boy there.
