What a sweet way to celebrate...

Thursday night Mike and I went with his parents, Larry and Ann, and his siblings and their spouses to the Jordan River Temple to do sealings. It was so nice. What was nice was to have all the Hansons there. We were celebrating 3 Anniversaries in August. 

After we left, we went to Kneaders for a little dinner and to stall before going home to our kids. Is that wrong?? :) 

Dave and Nancy Wood, Scott and Stacie Hanson, Married 17 years, Larry and Ann Hanson, Married 48 years, Trevor and Robyn Hanson, Married 13 years and Mike and I,  just happy to be here! 

What is it...August? Already?

I'm on the back end of Summer and this is my first hike of the year I think! Loser. It's crazy, I used to do this stuff all the time. So here we are; my husband my kids and I with a few of our friends up Mill Creek Canyon headin' to Dog Lake. What?...What do you mean that's not my husband? uhhh, yea that's my husb- oh wait...your right, Dang! that's not my husband. That's Julie's husband, John and their son Jake. My bad.

Anyway does anyone notice the no parking sign to my left? So I guess you can't park on the road but we can stand in the middle of it and block the cars so we can take a picture. Yea that's safe...

This is pretty much what Lily Patch looked like the entire time. Not real happy to be there.

But I was very impressed at the lack of whining! She did a great job

for a kid who didn't want to be there.

Pretty picture. I like the sunlight and the tree to the left with the little love note on it, that I didn't realize was there till I got home and saw it full size. Sometimes I get lucky.

Little Dodger Patch loved this hike. he wanted to be up front all the time, leading the way. I thought for sure he was going to get kicked.
Before we lost the all the good light I got a few flowers. I know I take a ton of these but they never stop being beautiful reminders of the Lords love for us.

Ok, here I am with my family, My Husband Mike and my son Caleb. We made it to Dog Lake; which really isn't much of a lake but a very large pond. But my husband and I were glad to get-what? uhh YEA that is too my husband. He's tall, his name's Mike, I know my own husband! ..........................DANG !!!! Sorry Carrie. Yea...this is Carrie Wagstaff's Husband and son.

Here's the deal...

you people need to come with your spouse's on these hikes! Because even though I'm not a big believer in the idea that situations need to be "appropriate" by certain "standards" It was only slightly odd for Monica and I to go hiking with your husbands yesterday! Don't get me wrong, I'll do it again if I have the opportunity, if it means i'm going hiking again, but I'd sure love to see MY husband there along with Julie, Carrie and Chris.

And really...do you want me to take advantage of this situation again on my blog? really?

AHHHHHHH GOOD TIMES :) hehe

Now I just need to find a shooting range and a motorcycle to ride and I'll feel fulfilled for the summer!
